Established in the 17th Century as a coaching inn and ferry stop for the Ballachulish Ferry (when this was merely a small row boat), the Loch Leven Hotel has been modernised and rooms upgraded to modern standard.

Unique rooms with standard or king-size double beds, en-suite bathroom with a shower or shower over the bath. Some of these rooms have views over the loch and some are also pet-friendly.
Unique rooms with two single beds, en-suite bathroom with a shower or shower over bath. Some of these rooms have views over the loch and all of these rooms are pet-friendly. These rooms can also be prepared as super king-size doubles on request.
Larger rooms with a king-size double four-poster bed, sitting area, en-suite bathroom with a shower or shower over the bath. These rooms have full or partial loch views. These rooms are pet-free and cannot accommodate pets.
Glamping pods with a bit of luxury! These individual huts have standard double beds, small wet room, sitting area, super fats WiFi, Bluetooth speakers, a fridge and a small private terrace. These rooms are pet-free and cannot accommodate pets.
Our Annex rooms offer basic 'bunk house' style accommodation for those looking for comfort on a budget. These rooms are located in an outbuilding next to the hotel, they are simple and small but are well equipped with en-suite facilities, TV's, Wi-Fi & tea/coffee making facilities.
We have one accessible room (double room) which is located on the ground floor and has an accessible shower as well as grab rails in the bathroom. This room also enjoys beautiful views over Loch Leven and has its own private terrace.
Most of our bedrooms in the main hotel (and both Annex rooms) are also dog friendly, please check availability before booking as we do keep some rooms dog-free for guests with allergies. Dog supplement of £20 per room per stay will apply to facilitate a deep cleaning fee. Please note that our Deluxe rooms and Luxury Pods are all pet-free.
Two of our rooms in the main hotel have a sofa bed which can accommodate one extra guest. One of our Four Poster Double rooms also has a small sofa bed which can accommodate 1 child. Cots can be provided in most rooms, available on request at a small £5 surcharge. Surcharge for children up to 11 years old is £20 per night, for children over 12 years and adults £30 per night (includes breakfast when the room has been booked at a bed & breakfast rate).
Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of your arrival until 11am on the day of departure. Late checkout package will allow you to have a long lie in and keep the room until 1pm, available at £20 per room.
